On Episode 63 of Beers in The Lot, the guys gave some of their thoughts on some teams that have surprised everyone to start the NHL season focusing on the Toronto Maple Leafs’ woes; talked about the Seattle Kraken opening their brand new rink, Climate Pledge Arena, by retiring the number 32; and listened to Jon’s description of a crime against humanity involving dress clothes, a hockey bag, and an office worker after a lunch time skate.

On Episode 62, the guys discussed different ways they try to keep their gear clean and not as smelly; what their favorite store bought fried chicken is and having it as a post game meal; some irreconcilable differences on the ice; and the Ice Breaker college hockey tournament hosted by the University of Minnesota Duluth Bulldogs.

On Episode 61 of Beers in The Lot, the guys talked about hockey season starting with the NCAA starting over the last couple weekends and the NHL opening up this week; whether or not professional hockey players are also gamers and streamers; and more thoughts and excitement around hockey in the upcoming Winter Olympics.

On Episode 60 of Beers in The Lot, Aaron scored an empty net goal in beer league this week and Danny, Rigs, and Jonny were all over that even though it may or may not have ended up on the scoresheet; the guys then discussed some of the more interesting rounds in their NHL fantasy draft; and touched on the fast-approaching NHL season discussing how teams find success in the playoffs regardless of what division they play in or where they end up in the standings.

On Episode 59, the guys discussed their NHL preseason impressions and how good the Seattle Kraken uniforms look on the ice; went over a couple of their planned fantasy hockey draft rules including a listener submitted one involving “The Michigan”; and talked about the New York Rangers retiring Henrik Lundqvist’s number later this season.

On Episode 58 of Beers in The Lot, the guys talked about some of the funny things that happened in beer league this week and whether or not Aaron scissor kicked a guy; their thoughts on the Detroit Red Wings; and how NHL teams’ successes contribute to up and coming local hockey communities.
