On Episode 92 of Beers in The Lot, Danny, Rigs, and Jonny returned from the Hockey Fights MS tournament in Hershey, PA with stories from the weekend. In addition to that, the guys also discussed the first round of the Stanley Cup Playoffs and the inconsistencies in NHL player safety, rules, and supplementary discipline.
On Episode 91 of Beers in The Lot, the guys’ full attention is on the Stanley Cup Playoffs and the goings-on around the NHL. They focused on the close series in the Eastern Conference with particular emphasis on the Toronto Maple Leafs and Tampa Bay Lightning. The BITL crew also discussed the recent firings of former New York Islanders head coach, Barry Trotz and former broadcaster turned Ottawa Senators player development VP, Pierre McGuire.
On Episode 90, the guys were joined by their friend and beer league teammate, Steve “Stan Bamorte” Bamonti. Stan talked about starting hockey as an adult; his TV and video production career; winning two Emmys; and why we all call him Stan.
