The BITL crew recorded Episode 140 live and in-person before the first games of the Spring Old Fat Bald Guys Hockey League season. They were joined by Field Reporter Ross. The guys grilled Ross on his unusual beverage choice or lack thereof with late night, post hockey Taco Bell. Ross gave his most recent field report. There was also a little prognostication on the Stanley Cup Playoffs.
On Episode 139 of Beers in The Lot, the guys started with a recap of their highlights from a busy sports watching weekend including The Masters and Frozen Four. The crew discussed the chances of the Washington Capitals winning the NHL Draft Lottery. They finished up with a debate on which NHL conference will fare better in this year’s Stanley Cup Playoffs.
The guys were looking forward to a great upcoming sports weekend in Episode 138. The crew was excited about the Masters, baseball, and the Frozen Four. They talked about Wayne Gretzky calling for a shot clock in NHL shootouts to prevent Washington Capitals forward Evgeny Kuznetsov’s recent, slow motion shoout out attempts. Rigs and Jonny also gave their takes on the Frozen Four match ups.
