The ‘Keeper of The Cup’, Phil Pritchard joined the guys on Episode 43 of Beers in The Lot. Phil told stories about NHL players sharing the Stanley Cup with the communities and people that impacted them; talked about preserving hockey history at the Hockey Hall of Fame; and shared some examples of how hockey history is made everyday and how important that is to the growth of the game.

On Episode 42 of Beers in The Lot, the guys had to talk about the latest Toronto Maple Leafs round one collapse in the Stanley Cup Playoffs to the Montreal Canadiens; were excited their local beer leagues are starting up after more than a year off; and discussed a new hockey fan’s interesting method to picking their favorite NHL team.

On Episode 41 of Beers in The Lot, the guys talked about the disappointing first round exit for Connor McDavid and the Edmonton Oilers; had a bit of fun with the “serenity now” approach Toronto Maple Leafs forward Auston Matthews is using against the Montreal Canadiens’ attempts to get under his skin; and discussed the importance of goaltenders and how they should probably play well for their teams to have a chance.

The Beers in The Lot crew decided to celebrate their 40th episode by enjoying forties of various varieties of high gravity lager and malt liquor. On Episode 40, the guys talked about their initial impressions of the Stanley Cup Playoffs so far; Colorado Avalanche defenseman, Cale Makar, actually celebrating a goal; and the goalie problems the Pittsburgh Penguins and other playoff teams have.

On Episode 39 of Beers in The Lot, the guys reviewed their terrible preseason NHL picks; took a look at some potential Stanley Cup Playoffs match-ups and the confusion around re-seeding in each round; and discussed a few teams that probably need to win a Stanley Cup this year.

On Episode 38 of Beers in The Lot, the guys did whatever everyone else is doing-talk about Washington Capitals forward, Tom Wilson. They also got into some NHL Department of Player Safety critique; an insane conspiracy theory regarding Alex Ovechkin, Tom Wilson, and Artemi Panarin; and reminisced on the days when cold nights in the lot were warmed up by burn barrels.
