On Episode 37 of Beers in The Lot, the guys reviewed and discussed the current NHL standings and playoff races; whether or not coaching in the Stanley Cup Playoffs is that important; and discussed collecting various hockey memorabilia.

On Episode 36 of Beers in The Lot, the guys discussed some of their disappointment that recent NHL games have been a little boring; whether or not the PGA Tour’s new social media and engagement incentive program might work in the NHL; and how no matter what level a hockey player peaks at, they all end up in the beer leagues one day.

On Episode 35 of Beers in The Lot, the guys discussed three notable moves made at the NHL Trade Deadline that saw the Boston Bruins add Taylor Hall; the Pittsburgh Penguins acquire Jeff Carter; and the Washington Capitals part ways with Jakub Vrana in exchange for Anthony Mantha. The Beers in The Lot crew also reviewed the greatness of Wayne Gretzky and if Alex Ovechkin can still break The Great One’s all-time goals record. The guys also shared some embarrassing beer league hockey stories.

On Episode 34 of Beers in The Lot, the guys were joined by Hilary Hayssen, Shannon Rice, and Stretch Johnston from the Chesapeake Bay Lightning. They discussed their preparations for USA Hockey Nationals in Tampa Bay and the Bay to Bay 2000K fundraising effort the Lightning are running to help offset costs of the trip and tournament.

Episode 33 of Beers in The Lot features Charles Partridge aka CooperGoalie from YouTube. He talked with the guys about his extensive collection of vintage goalie gear and how he uses it in beer league hockey. Charles doesn’t use gear produced after the 1990s and can brag that he plays up an age level in the old timers league. This is an episode for the gear and hockey history nerds.

On Beers in The Lot Episode 32, the guys talked about the hockey playoff season getting started with the NWHL completing the Isobel Cup and the upcoming NCAA Frozen Four tournament; whether or not an NHL prospect should be able to do a single pull-up; which NHL franchises need to perform well to make the league stronger; and a couple firsthand accounts of NHL arena experiences.
